I have played wow for almost 2 years and over this time i have become quite familiar with the workings of the game, so i created this blog to share with people the knowledge that i have gathered over this time as well as give updates about whats happening in the warcraft community.
So starting out i would like to say a bit about cataclysm, the new expansion for WoW coming out on the 7th of December (as if we all didn't know already), it features a massive change in the whole world for everyone, even if you don't buy the expansion pack. Everything is going to be permanently destroyed by the dragon aspect 'Deathwing' in his rise to fame as the next big evil in the World of Warcraft. Blizzard have also taken this opportunity to implement many other changes to the classes and interface, it will make for an almost completely new looking game but also provide a better user friendly atmosphere; much to the disgust of some other players.
Some of the new changes have already been patched into the world along with patch 4.0.1 which overhauled all the classes and spells as well as all the talent trees, this presumably has already been brought in to ease players into Cataclysm and reduce the wait time on release downloading everything. The changes made in 4.0.1 are too many to list but it surely was a big step in the direction of the expansion.
This week we are due another patch, 4.0.3, sadly it's not going to be the world changing patch, it's actually a very small one featuring almost nothing to get excited about except from bug fixes (who really cares about them anyway), so its not a biggy and still we're all going to have to wait for the final cataclysm.
